DRAGON EYE

In the last www.lacepatterns.link e-news, I asked you in a short questionnaire what my next lace pattern should be. Of the answers I received, I took two into account: it should be round and contain fish for practice. Thanks to Zinka and Pat for the idea!

The resulting brooch pattern is 5.5 cm in diameter, which I have named dragon's eye. My fellow lacemakers from the Idrija Lace Ladies' Association chose it out of six others.

If you like the Dragon Eye pattern, click on the link and make lace with me. You will need 8 pairs of cotton Thread, Idrija Nr. 30.

Start with inner eye.
Do the tally and chain in the middle part of the inner eye.
Make a narrow tape in the outside of the pattern.
Finish the lace with so- called pajki.
